The members of the Northern Ohio Chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America are dedicated to the ongoing legacy of the Oldsmobile marquee, which spans 107 years of production dating back to 1897, and continues through and beyond the final Oldsmobile produced in 2004.

We are also dedicated to the continued preservation of all makes and models of Oldsmobile's, and in sharing the history, knowledge, camaraderie, and fellowship that those in the old car hobby in general, and in the Oldsmobile Club Of America in particular, enjoy.

Ownership of an Oldsmobile is not required to join the Northern Ohio Chapter; however, individuals must be a national member of the Oldsmobile Club of America. National OCA dues are $30 per year, upon which one receives the “Golden Quill” Award-winning Journey With Olds monthly publication. Membership in the Northern Ohio Chapter of the OCA is $10 per year, which entitles one to receive the Northern Ohio Chapter Newsletter, published four times each year.

The Northern Ohio Chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America was founded in 1972, and is one of the oldest existing Oldsmobile Chapters in the OCA. Our Chapter boasts of approximately 120 members, many of whom take part in other regional and national Oldsmobile Club of America events, as well as those associated with the Northern Ohio Chapter.

The Northern Ohio Chapter hosts an annual “Spring Dust-Off” event, usually held the first Sunday in May, and has done so each year since 2001.

The Chapter’s annual All-Oldsmobile Car Show and Swap Meet, an event that has taken place each year since 1984, is usually held the third Sunday in August, and has become one of the largest Chapter shows in the country, with a record 206 cars participating in 2004. The Northern Ohio Chapter also participates with the area Buick and Pontiac Chapters of their respective organizations in an annual B-O-P Show, usually held the second Sunday in June; this event has taken place each year since 1992.

On average, four Chapter meetings are held at various locations around Northern Ohio each year, including an annual dinner that is held during the holiday season, to help organize these events, as well as being a great place to exchange knowledge, meet friends new and old, and add to the enjoyment of the Oldsmobile hobby.
