Richard
L. Turner
Richard L. "Dick" Turner, age 72,
of Canton, died Friday, October 10, 2008 at Aultman Hospital
with his wife by his side.
He was born February 5, 1936 in
Cambridge, Ohio to the late Harold B. and Eva M. (Wilson)
Turner. Dick retired from
National Cash Register after 32 years
of service and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church,
Canton and the
Northern Ohio Chapter of the Oldsmobile
Club of America. Dick will be forever missed by his loving wife,
Jane (Sumser)
Turner who walked hand in hand with him
through an incredible 40 years of marriage. They were the love
of each other's lives and were soulmates
who were inseparable. He is also
survived by two sisters-in-law; three nephews; one great-nephew
and many special friends. In addition to his parents,
he was preceded in death by his
brother. Dick and his wife loved traveling, boating and
cruise-ins in their '75 Olds convertible. He also enjoyed
photography
and was a collector of model cars. He
enjoyed his voluntary work with the McKinley Presidential
Library and Museum, American Red Cross, Stark Parks
and Hall of Fame Grand Parade
Committee. Dick was a wonderful man of great kindness, humor and
generosity, always positive and upbeat. He will be greatly
missed but will live in the hearts of
his family friends forever. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church,
726 Cleveland Ave. NW, Canton.
Entombment in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call 6-8
p.m. on Monday in the Karlo-Feucht Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard
Rd. NW,
